2/1 Game Forcing Auctions allow us to go slow with good hands. This leaves us room for some other special agreements that can be used to show some difficult hands. Specifically, we can play that jump rebids of a suit show a solid suit -- setting trump and trying for slam. Being able to let partner know that we have a great suit (not to worry about trump) is a valuable tool that is a part of our 2/1 Game Forcing agreements.
