This week we look at an optional approach (very popular in the 90s and early 00s) for artificial raises of Opener's Major suit. Going beyond the more common Jacoby 2NT, Bergen Raises use the rest of the 3-level as artificial raises of Opener's Major suit.
These are not my personal favorite approach but many players ask me about them and it does not hurt to know how they work in case your opponents are using them against you.
