Hi Everyone -
I hope that everyone is able to stay home and find some time to spend with their loved ones. I hope that you are able to find some relaxation and enjoyment in your bridge game at this time as well. The ACBL is ramping up the number of online players in Bridgebase and many bridge clubs have already set up virtual versions of their clubs that allow them to hold games online. I’m working on some educational products (Webinars, Videos, and Practice Hands) as well as some updates to the website and other communication while I’m spending this time at home. I’m hoping to be able to share some of these with you in the coming weeks.
Turning our focus to TWiB, we will spend the next two months taking an in-depth look at responding to 1NT. This month we will focus on how to respond with hands of varying strength.

4 (315) Responding to 1NT with a Slammish Hand
We will continue next month with a more detailed look at responding with 2-suited hands and dealing with competition. I hope you find this week’s focus on how (and when) to respond to 1NT with a weak hand useful.
