This week we continue our look at expert gadgets. Even if you aren’t going to adopt this one, it is worth thinking about the bidding problem that Opener may be faced with, holding an extremely strong hand.
When Opener has enough values that they need to make a jump shift, they eat up most of the bidding space for the partnership. This makes it more difficult for Opener to communicate their distribution. Here we look at a structure for making jump shifts and communicating our distribution to partner.
