We finish our month on dealing with the opponents’ interference in our constructive auctions by looking at a few situations where the opponents interfere after we have made a conventional raise of partner’s suit. We specifically focus on how to deal with interference after we use a conventional 2NT response (in a variety of different situations) that promises or implies a fit for partner’s suit. When we have a fit, the opponents are much more likely to have a fit as well, and this dramatically increases the chance they will come into our auction.
