This week we continue our look at defensive situations by focusing on suit contacts where the declarer has a chance to set up discards for themselves to get rid of their losers. Some of these situations are obvious, but recognizing the less obvious situations can take experience and work. I hope this discussion helps you learn to recognize these situations more quickly so that you know when to get aggressive about going to get your tricks -- and not letting them disappear.
