(198) Doubles: Anti-Lead Directing Doubles

Hi Again -

This week's topic is an advanced use of double that is designed to make our bidding less helpful for the opponents - an Anti-Lead Directing Double.  The main idea is that sometimes we want to double an artificial bid to say to partner "lead this suit".  Other times we think that partner should lead this suit and we shouldn't have to double -- because a lead-directing double sometimes makes the bidding easier for the opponents.   Let's see how anti-lead directing doubles work and when they apply.
