This month we turn our attention back to constructive bidding, specifically responding to a Major suit opening bid from partner.
1. Constructive and Limping Raises
2. 1M - 3NT
3. Weak Jump Raises in Comp and Q=LR+
4. Responding to 1M with 5-card support
This week we look at the value of constructive raises and making sure that partner does not get too excited about bidding game when we have little more than a fit. We will see that 1NT Forcing (or Semi-Forcing) can be used to make a limping raise to help us keep the auction from getting too high.
