More work on our defensive agreements is needed. This week we turn our focus to defending notrump contracts. When defending notrump contacts, the opening lead is our start of attacking the opponents. We make this decision without seeing the dummy. Once we see the dummy we will often find that we wish we had done something different or need some help from partner to know if we should change our defensive tack.
